Not sure whose thought this was, and I am paraphrasing here, but I believe that happiness can be defined in part as: desire fulfilled moment to moment. But eventual or long-term happiness is much more elusive. It could be the ability to sacrifice immediate happiness to reach a more desired or needed place of energized contentment. This is a place where we know what we want, why we want it, when we need it, and we won’t be content until what we want is eventually ours to achieve, but only IF it fits the vision of what we envisioned in the first place. LOL!
